Matías Lasarte, SCU

Cinematographer

A member of the Uruguayan Society of Cinematographers (SCU), I hold an M.A. in Cinematography and B.A. in Communication Studies, and have been working in the motion picture industry for over a decade. After spending many years traveling and learning the craft of photography around the world, I based myself back in my home country, Uruguay. I began working in the industry as a camera assistant, through which I climbed the ranks to DOP. I now balance my projects between commercial, music and fiction work.
